Course Overview
Welcome to Level 2 Food and Nutrition. This course offers 23 NCEA Achievement Standard credits, and builds on the units of work covered in Level 1. It will enable you to further the knowledge you have already gained, and will deepen your understanding of the relationship between food, the determinants of health and well-being.

Achievement Standard 91301 “Analyse beliefs, attitudes and practices related to a nutritional issue for families in New Zealand”. 2 5 Audio Visual presentation Internal Literacy Week beginning 11th August
Achievement Standard 91304 “Evaluate health promoting strategies designed to address a nutritional need” 2 4 Examination
(Practice + final) External Literacy Practice exam during school exams in week 10 of Term 3.
Final NCEA exam at end of year.
