Level 2 Food and Hospitality Course 2014

NCEA Unit Standards
Course Overview

Welcome to Year 12 Food and Hospitality. This course is run in conjunction with HIS (Hospitality Standards Institute). It builds on the units of work covered in Level 1 Hospitality, and provides an opportunity for you to extend your knowledge of food, and to develop a wide range of practical skills in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages. The entire course is internally assessed. It offers 20 -22 credits at level 2. Competency in Unit Standard 167 is essential in order to achieve the other standards.
