A Website About My Dog, Kane - Home

This is a website centered around the Labrador Retriever, Kane, that was adopted into my family in 2016. The past 5 years with him have been full of adventure, and he has become quite the character, probably due to the spoilt nature of his life with us. Before we adopted him, Kane was a cash dog for customs, but retired very early. If you wish to learn more about the story of Kane's adoption, the page "Adopting Kane" covers the experience we went through getting an ex-customs dog. Being a labrador, Kane is extremely food motivated, which has resulted in multiple incidents - some hilarious, but others, not so much. Two events in the latter category resulted in Kane having to have surgeries to remove the objects that he had decided to eat. The story about that is on the page "Kane's Surgeries". Having Kane in our lives is an amazing thing, because despite some of his less desirable traits, he is a lovable creature that brightens up my life. He is well-loved by friends and family, even if he does seem to think that he is above us in the pecking order. I hope this website helps you in some way, be it with information on adopting through customs, details on process we went through with the surgeries, or even just gives you a seritonin boost from the pictures of a cute dog.
